Our cafe is home to a delightful group of cats, each with their own unique personality and charm. The Heart of Our Cafe: Meet the Cats
Ruby: Comfort & Joy's official hostess
Ruby is a tabby with a warm spirit. She's thrilled to welcome all visitors to Comfort & Joy. This site is her diary; check back often to see what's been going on!
Moo: the stoic older brother
Moo is a black and white cat with a cute little black nose. Don't be surprised that he doesn't have a tail; he's a Manx cat, and they don't have tails!
Benji: the playful soul
Benji is our youngest resident. He's a silver tabby and loves to play!
Foster cats
We are proud to foster cats from local cat shelters around the Pikes Peak region. Foster cats are available for adoption; if you're looking for a cat, visit us to see if one of our fosters is ready to choose you. We'll even help with the paperwork!

What to Expect
Book online or stop in!
While we recommend reserving a session online, you can also just stop by. Sessions are 50 minutes and include a hot beverage of your choice. When you arrive, grab a mug and choose from our wide selection of coffee and tea. Snacks and other beverages are also available for purchase. We'll introduce you to the cats, go over our rules of the house, and then it's kitty time!
Your comfort is just as important as the cats'
We want you to feel just as comfortable as our cats. Feel free to sit on the furniture, grab a toy or some treats, and pet our happy cats. We recommend starting out by sitting in one place and letting the cats come to you. They may choose to sit on your lap, but please do not try to pick them up or chase them. Speaking in a quiet voice will also help the kitties feel at ease with you more quickly.
